Adrian Hodges is a BAFTA-winning screenwriter and television writer. Adrian created TV hits like ITV’s Primeval and BBC1’s Survivors.

His debut as a television writer was the 1991 television drama Tell Me That You Love Me, followed by screenplays for The Bridge and Tom & Viv. After his film adaptation of Julian Barnes's Metroland, Adrian concentrated on writing television dramas, including Amongst Woman, The Lost World and Charles II: The Power and The Passion, and Kavanagh QC. He has also adapted two of Philip Pullman's Sally Lockhart stories for TV: The Ruby in the Smoke and The Shadow in the North. In 2005, Adrian wrote an episode of the HBO-BBC co-production Rome titled "Triumph". He also wrote a remake of Survivors which was broadcast from 2007 to 2010 on BBC1. Hodges created ITV's Primeval now in its fifth series.

Adrian will talk to Quentin Falk about writing the screenplay of the new film "My Week with Marilyn". My Week with Marilyn, this year’s Wooburn Festival Film, is a British drama film directed by Simon Curtis. It stars Michelle Williams, Kenneth Branagh, Eddie Redmayne, Dominic Cooper and Emma Watson. Based on two books by Colin Clark, it depicts the making of the 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl which starred Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier. The film focuses on the week in which Monroe spent time being escorted around Britain by Clark, after her husband, Arthur Miller, left the country.

Adrian has written the script for an American television series Labyrinth which is now being produced by Ridley Scott.
