The poetry group Metroland Poets present a reading of their poems.
Established in 1993, Metroland Poets is a lively group centred on Buckinghamshire but with members from as far afield as London to the south and Northamptonshire in the north. There are some thirty active members and we meet monthly to discuss poetry and workshop our own poems.

Many of Metroland’s poets have been published in the small press and, collectively, we have produced two anthologies and are frequent contributors to the Rhyme and Reason publication which to date has raised £40,000 for the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home.

Our output varies greatly in subject matter and form and we think that there will be something to appeal to all tastes. If you came to one of our readings at the Swan last year and enjoyed it then why not bring someone along with you this year. There may be some poets you didn't see last time, but all of us will be bringing new material.

Entrance: Free, with retiring collection for Charity
